The caravan we stayed in was grim, it was noisy and cold. The area was like a ghost town and appreciate it was out of season but everything was generally very run down.
After a few housekeeping issues in the static caravan our stay was good. The problems were sorted quickly and efficiently staff more then willing to get back to things sorted. The site is clean and well managed. Club house good plenty for kids too. Swimming pool great and lifeguard on duty. We usually bring our touring van here but tried a static for a change. Will be back next year.. Well done to all resort staff
Its a nice park a good walk to the sea front but there is a bus stop a few 100m out side the main entrance. The van we got was very uncomfortable for an upgrade and not very clean, but they have given us a refund on the next holiday. Staff very helpful, it was our second time at the park. The Town is famous for its inland lighthouse and has loads of history on the front.You do need a car to get about as theres not a lot to do locally, Hull is the closest town, 30/40mins away with a good bus service.
Nice place pulled my tourer onto here for a weekend recently for my daughter and her family as we live in a very small bungalow adjacent to the park and it was ideal. They had a whale of a time and made good use of the pool all in all highly recommended and good value.
Great place for kids but restaurant could do with a good clean the floor near bar was extremely sticky.. An service on food was slow the fetched out our meals at different times. But other than that nice place to go
